We’re partnering with 350.org, calling for a global day of climate action on October 24th!
(The day is over! Read a recap here.)
Get started by reading 350’s invitation letter and then start a Carrotmob in your community.
October 24th is a Global Day of Climate Action, the day when people all over the planet are working together to take action against global warming. Here at Carrotmob, we’re going to do what we do best- incentivize businesses to reduce GHG emissions by mobbing them with customers. (If you don’t know what Carrotmob is yet, find out here)
Have a look at our map and join up with an event near you, or if there isn’t one nearby, start one! It’s the most fun you can have while saving the planet, and one of the most measurable ways you can make an impact on October 24th. All the events on October 24th will incorporate the number 350 in some way. If you want to plan an event, here are some ideas for what you could do:
- Get 350 people to show up
- Have our entire network of Carrotmobbers spend a combined $35,000 in one day
- Have competing companies bid 35.0% or higher
- Have attendees of mobs arrive at 3:50 in the afternoon…
Those are just a few ideas to get you started…there are two steps you need to take if you want to participate:
1) Start planning a Carrotmob by checking out our “How To” page
2) Register your event with 350.org.
